Diadynamic therapy

Diadynamic therapy (DDT) is a therapeutic effect on the body with two constant low-frequency impulse currents supplied separately or in continuous alternation. The procedure is carried out in the position of the patient lying down and less sitting. Under the influence of therapy, peripheral blood circulation is activated, metabolism increases, tissue swelling decreases, and the inflammatory process is reduced.

Indications for use

The procedure is effective in the treatment of diseases of the peripheral nervous system with pain and motor disorders; diseases of the musculoskeletal system and the musculoskeletal system, diseases of internal organs and the cardiovascular system; diseases with connective tissue pathology; diseases of the eyes, teeth, skin; diseases of upper respiratory tract.

Contraindications

Therapy is contraindicated at high temperature and the general serious condition of the patient; cachexia; malignancy; bleeding and bleeding; inflammatory process; malignant blood diseases; pain of visceral origin; urinary and gallstone diseases; bone fractures with non-immobilized fragments; breaks in muscles, blood vessels and nerve trunks; thrombophlebitis; skin integrity problems; dermatitis and eczema; impaired skin sensitivity; tuberculous process in the kidneys; radiotherapy; multiple sclerosis; pregnancy; individual intolerance of current.
