This procedure is often used for functional bowel disorders.
For the procedure using bromide water with a salinity of 6.0-8.0 mg /dm 3. The patient is lying on his back with his legs bent at the knees. The rectal intestinal probe is inserted at a depth of 12 cm. The tip of the probe is treated with petroleum jelly.
After filling the intestines, water is removed from it by switching the tap through the same probe.
0.5-1.0 liter of water can be injected in 3-5 steps in a single step. The course of treatment is up to 4 procedures.
Indications for use
This procedure is effective for various functional diseases of the intestine, chronic duodenitis, colitis and enterocolitis of various etiologies outside the acute phase, except for stenotic, ulcerative and bacterial, parasitic forms.
Contraindications
The procedure can not be carried out with enterocolitis with severe malnutrition, cachexia, chronic dysentery, ulcerative colitis, bleeding hemorrhoids and intestinal polyposis. And also for all forms of jaundice, frequent attacks of cholelithiasis, cirrhosis and chronic hepatitis.
