Treatment of pelvic adhesions, like any other, is aimed at preventing the formation of new ones and, in some cases, removing old ones. Thus, a medical and surgical method of treating adhesions is used. The drug method depends on the cause of adhesions, antibacterial, hormonal agents may be prescribed. Consequences of lack of treatment

Despite the innocuousness of adhesions, they can cause serious complications: bending of the cervix, menstrual irregularity, ectopic pregnancy.
