Phonophoresis

Phonophoresis, also known as sonophoresis, is a treatment method that combines ultrasound with solutions, emulsions or ointments, and therapeutic mud applied to certain areas of the patient's body. It is assumed that ultrasound helps the medicinal substance to penetrate deeper into the tissues. It is used for diseases of the joints and spine, urological and gynecological diseases.
